By using Radar Finance, you're agreeing to these Terms. It's like nodding your head while pretending to read, except we actually want you to read this. We've tried to make it painless.

2Who Can Use Radar Finance

Radar Finance is available to users 13 years of age and older. If you're under 18, you need your parent or legal guardian's permission to use our services (and probably to spend money in the first place).

We don't verify age, but we do reserve the right to terminate accounts if we discover you've misrepresented your age. Don't make us be the bad guys here.

4Free Trial and Subscription

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial so you can decide if we're a good match (like dating, but for your financial life). No credit card is required when signing up directly through our website, but app stores may require payment information.

Subscription Plans

After your free trial, you can choose from:

Monthly subscription: Billed monthly (price subject to change, see current pricing in app)
Annual subscription: Billed annually at a discount (also subject to change, but a better deal)

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel. It's like a gym membership but actually useful.

Payment

Payments are processed through:

Apple App Store (for iOS users)
Google Play Store (for Android users)
Our website (for web users)

Each platform handles its own billing. We just gratefully receive the money after they take their cut.

5Subscription Management and Cancellation

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage your subscription through:

Your Apple App Store account (iOS)
Your Google Play account (Android)
Our website account settings (web)

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

For App Store purchases: Through your Apple ID settings
For Google Play purchases: Through the Google Play subscription center
For web subscriptions: Through your account on our website

Cancellation will stop future billing but won't provide a refund for the current billing period. Your account will remain active until the end of the period you've paid for. It's like giving notice at an apartment – you can still live there until your lease is up.

6Refund Policy

App Store Purchases

Refunds for subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to their respective policies. We don't control their refund processes, so you'll need to:

Google: Request through play.google.com or the Play Store app

Direct Web Purchases

For subscriptions purchased directly through our website:

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase
We may grant refunds at our discretion if you're unsatisfied
No refunds for partial subscription periods

7Family Sharing and Multiple Devices

Radar Finance supports family sharing! You can share with up to 5 family members without additional fees.

Multiple Devices

You can access your account on multiple devices with the same login. Your data will sync automatically across devices, like magic but with more programming involved.

8Your Data and Privacy

Your Data

You own your data. We just store it for you. For details on how we handle your information, please see our Privacy Policy, which is also surprisingly readable.

Data After Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription, your data will be retained for 60 days after your subscription ends. After that period, we may delete it to save space on our servers. Export your data before cancellation if you want to keep it forever.

9Use Restrictions

Please don't use Radar Finance to:

Break any laws (we shouldn't have to say this, but lawyers insist)
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Upload malicious code or content
Harass our support team (they're nice people trying to help)
Try to reverse engineer our app (flattering, but still not allowed)

10Modifications to the Service

We may modify the service from time to time to make it better, fix bugs, or comply with laws. Sometimes we might even add new features you didn't know you wanted! We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.

11Termination

We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or if you haven't used the service in a really long time. We don't like doing it, but sometimes it's necessary.

12Disclaimer of Warranties

Radar Finance is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make it great, but occasionally bugs happen.

We're not responsible for:

Financial decisions you make based on your use of our app
Data loss due to your actions or technical issues
Your device suddenly combusting (though that's probably not our fault)
Natural disasters, zombie apocalypses, or alien invasions

13Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription. So if you paid $50 for the year, our maximum liability is $50. We're not made of money (ironically, for a finance app).

14Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem, please contact us first at legal@radarfinance.app. We're reasonable people and want to resolve issues amicably.

If we can't resolve the issue directly, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, New York. Nobody wants to go to court, especially over a finance app.

15Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Legal conflicts will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New York, New York, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

16Changes to Terms
